An introduction

A quick hello to kick things off — I’m James, an artist, illustrator and animator living in London, UK. If you’ve seen my art before, it might be from this animation which I’ve shared many times on social media:

I’m starting this mailing list as I want to explore moving away from social media to something a bit more thoughtful and peaceful — if you’ve made it here from over there, then thank you! I’m also excited to create more art to exist outside of tweets (like game dev, which I’m currently experimenting with) and want to give people a simpler way to follow along that isn’t so dependent on social media algorithms. On that topic, here’s a sneak peek of some game dev concept art I’ve been working on:
